Transforming Origami into Jewelry

Travel via NYC Ferry to the Japan Society to learn how to transform origami into jewelry. Take NYC Ferry’s East River, Astoria, Soundview, Lower East Side (LES) route to East 34th street. Take origami to the next level by transforming your paper creations into beautiful jewelry.  At this two-hour workshop, paper jewelry designer Jewel Kawataki of PaperCraneHeart will demonstrate folding techniques to create a variety of origami shapes and teach how to turn your designs into one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. Each participant will take home a unique, self-designed pendant and pair of earrings.
