Come see Mary Poppins like never before at the Hunters Point South Parks summer movies in the park. Take NYC Ferry’s Astoria and Lower East Side, LIC route to Long Island City, Queens. CinemaLIC is organized by the Hunters Point Parks Conservancy (HPPC), Nestseekers, sponsors NYC Ferry and others. Movies were selected from survey choices selected by hundreds of park-goers.
The movies are free to the public! No seating is provided, bring your own blankets and chairs. The films are screened at LIC waterfront and viewers are encouraged to bring picnic blankets or sheets. If you bring beach chairs, please set up on the sidelines or in the back as a courtesy to other viewers.
Decades after her original visit, the magical nanny returns to help the Banks siblings and Michael’s children through a difficult time in their lives. Hope to see you there!
