Happy November, Citywide Friends! It’s officially looking like fall, and we can enjoy some great seasonal New York City activities again, such as ice skating, holiday markets and fall foliage peaking in the green corners of the city!
One of the season’s highly anticipated events are the reopening of the city’s many iconic skate rinks. From neighborhood favorites to iconic midtown rinks, some of the ice skating rinks already open for the season are: Rockefeller Plaza ($25; $12 skate rental), Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park (free; $20 skate rental) and Coney Island’s Abe Stark Rink ($10; $5 skate rental).
If you are not ready to skate onto the ice just yet, but want to indulge in the season’s many fresh aromas, there are tons of green markets carrying seasonal fruits, vegetables and treats across New York’s five boroughs both Saturday and Sunday.
