From the best restaurants bakeries and more! We selected one lucky couple to enjoy a day out on us while riding along our South Brooklyn Route. You can follow the couple, Gabi + Shanna, as they go on a date in South Brooklyn, discovering their own #NYCbackyard with NYC Ferry.
The couple began the day at Klompching Gallery which is a 6-minute walk from our DUMBO landing! Klompching Gallery is open every Wednesday through Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm. Once the couple is done exploring the gallery they will head to our Red Hook landing to go kayaking in Red Hook at Red Hook Boasters.
Gabi + Shanna spent time on the water with Red Hook Boaters! A day of kayaking is only a 6-minute walk from our Red Hook landing and this activity is completely FREE! They are open Monday through Sunday from 6 am to 9 pm.
The couple enjoyed dinner at Kimoto Rooftop Restaurant & Garden Lounge, which is a 23-minute walk from our Atlantic Avenue landing.
Gabi + Shanna ended their day at MIA’s Brooklyn Bakery, an 18-minute walk from our Atlantic Avenue landing.

Love & Dough is a 10-minute walk from our DUMBO landing. Love & Dough is open Monday through Sunday! The dough is made fresh daily with Caputo flour imported from Napoli. Their pasta and salads are also made from ingredients just as fresh.
Archway Café is a 10-minute walk from our DUMBO landing. Archway Cafe is open Monday through Friday, 8 am to 9 pm and Saturday and Sunday 8 am to 7 pm. Archway Café has been serving espresso and fresh baked goods since 2010. Their menu also has great salads and sandwiches.
Los Tacos Al Pastor is a 9-minute walk from our DUMBO landing. Los Tacos Al Pastor is open Monday through Sunday from 9 am to 10 pm. This authentic taco experience has the freshest ingredients, as well as a handmade tortilla.
Ramen Bar is a 10-minute walk from our DUMBO landing. Ramen & Sushi Bar is open Monday through Sunday from 12 pm to 10 pm. Ramen Bar gives you a true taste of Japan through every noodle you eat!
Celestine is a 10-minute walk from our DUMBO landing. Celestine is open Monday through Thursday from 11:30 AM to 10:30 PM, Friday 11:30 AM to 11 PM, Saturday 10 AM – 11 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 10:30 PM. The inspiration of Celestine comes from the Mediterranean Coastline, Northern African, and the Middle East.

Kimoto Rooftop Restaurant & Garden Lounge is a 23-minute walk from our Atlantic Avenue landing. Kimoto Rooftop Restaurant & Garden Lounge is open Sunday through Wednesday from 12 pm to midnight, Thursday 12 pm to 2 am, Friday 12 pm to 4 am, and Saturday from 12 pm to 4 am. Not only will you enjoy the food, but you will also bask in the ambiance of the indoor rock garden with more than 300 plants!
Bacchus is a 22-minute walk from our Atlantic Avenue Landing. Bacchus is open Monday through Thursday 5 PM to 10:30 PM, Friday 5 pm to 11 PM, Saturday 10:30 AM – 11 PM, and Sunday 10:30 AM – 10:30 PM. The French bistro satisfies all cravings from bitter to sweet and salty to sour.

The CopperPot is a 7-minute walk from our Red Hook landing. Enjoy lunch from 12 pm to 4 pm Tuesday to Friday and dinner from 5 pm to 10:30 pm Tuesday to Saturday. Bring some friends for karaoke at The Copperpot at 10 pm on Fridays. The Copperpot has live music on Wednesdays from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm and brunch on Sundays from 10 am to 4 pm.
Fort Defiance is an 8-minute walk fro our Red Hook landing. Fort Defiance makes it a point to get all their ingredients, from meat, dairy, to fruits and vegetables locally. Stop by on Mondays from 9 am to 12 am, Tuesdays from 10 am to 3 pm, and Wednesday to Sunday from 9 am to 12 am.
