Dear NYC Ferry Rider,
NYC Ferry will operate a weekend schedule on Monday, July 3, 2023 and Tuesday, July 4, 2023 in observance of Independence Day.
On July 4, service will close early to accommodate waterway closures for a fireworks event on the East River. Please see below for route-specific closure details:
East River Route:
Due to an early closure surrounding the Hunters Point South landing, the following will be the final departures to and from Hunters Point South:
- Last Hunters Point South departure bound for Wall Street/Pier 11 – 3:52 PM
- Last Wall St/Pier 11 departure bound for Hunters Point South – 2:55 PM
- The following are the final departures for all other landings on the East River route:
- Last Wall St/Pier 11 departure bound for E34th – 4:35 PM
- Last E34th St departure bound for Wall St/Pier 11 – 4:00 PM
There will be no Midtown Shuttle Bus service provided. Shuttle buses will resume normal service on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.
Rockaway Route:
- Last Wall Street/Pier 11 departure bound for Rockaway – 3:41 PM
- Last Rockaway departure bound for Wall Street/Pier 11 – 4:24 PM
Both Rockaway East and West Shuttle Buses will operate on a weekend schedule with service ending at 5:00 PM.
South Brooklyn Route:
- Last Corlears Hook departure bound for Bay Ridge – 4:14 PM
- Last Bay Ridge departure bound for Corlears Hook – 4:44 PM
Astoria Route:
- Last E 90th St departure bound for Wall St/Pier 11 – 4:33 PM
- Last Wall Street/Pier 11 departure bound for E 90th St – 4:14 PM
There will be no Midtown Shuttle Bus service provided. Shuttle buses will resume normal service on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.
Soundview Route:
- Last Ferry Point Park departure bound for Wall St/Pier 11 – 4:40 PM
- Last Wall St/Pier 11 departure bound for Ferry Point Park – 4:20 PM
- There will be no Midtown Shuttle Bus service provided. Shuttle buses will resume normal service on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.
St. George Route:
- Last Midtown West/Pier 79 departure bound for St. George – 4:54 PM
- Last St. George departure bound for Midtown West/Pier 79 – 4:45 PM
Governors Island Shuttle
- Last Governors Island departure bound for Wall St/Pier 11 – 5:16 PM
