Last week our team attended the Brooklyn Revealed event hosted by the Greenpoint Chamber at the beautiful Brooklyn inspired Williamsburg Hotel. Opened late last month, the eight-story hotel with reclaimed brick and wood walls welcomed its first guests to stay and enjoy the hotel’s privately chauffeured tuk-tuk service.
With both visitors and Brooklynites in mind, the hotel’s much-anticipated bars – one wooden water tower bar and two private bars created for the guests to use, as well as Chef Adam Leonti’s grains and vegetable focused restaurant, Harvey, pay tribute to the neighborhood’s rich history.
One of the features Chef de Cuisine Leonti will be bringing to the property is the Brooklyn Bread Lab, which Eater has claimed will be the “best new bread in the city.” Leonti’s restaurant will focus on a farm to table style philosophy, where he will receive whole grains from farmers and bake the same day, in order to transform a bag of grains to delicious meals on guests’ tables in roughly 15 hours.
The 150-room hotel hosted the Brooklyn Revealed, which is a Greenpoint Chamber driven event series created to give members “unique experiences that they wouldn’t normally have access to, at least until they get arrested or kicked out” said Paul Samulski, Greenpoint Chamber President.
