To support a potential increase in Rockaway ridership during the upcoming A-train and Rockaway Park Shuttle service changes, NYC Ferry is making the following service adjustments on the Rockaway route:

• Starting Saturday, January 18th, NYC Ferry will operate vessels with a 350-passenger capacity.
• Starting Monday, January 20th, an NYC Ferry upland agent will be present at the Rockaway landing during AM peak times to assist new commuters.

NYC Ferry will monitor ridership on the Rockaway route during the first week of the A-train closure and adjust capacity as-needed to support ridership. We will continue to closely monitor ridership trends as the closure continues.
