There’s nothing like the holidays in NYC, from the twinkling lights to the festive storefronts!

To help you navigate this winter wonderland we’ve created a list of festive activities located conveniently near our ferry landings.

Hudson Yards Lights
?Midtown West

During the holiday season, Hudson Yards transforms into a decorative wonderland with over two million twinkling lights. They also have exciting holiday events and happenings popping up all season long!

Brookfield Place Winter Garden

The soaring glass atrium of the Winter Garden has stunning views of the Hudson River and North Cove Marina. Though it’s called the Winter Garden year-round, during the holiday season the location really lives up to its name with an ice rink and Luminaries, a mesmerizing interactive lighting display.

Winter Village at Bryant Park

The self-proclaimed winter wonderland of Manhattan, Bryant Park’s Winter Village has an open air market, an ice skating rink, and more for visitors to enjoy this holiday season.

Saks Light Show & Fifth Ave Window Displays

The Saks Fifth Ave light show is a must-see during the NYC holiday season. The vibrant display of lights starts approximately every ten minutes. While you’re there don’t forget to wander around and find all the festive storefront displays!

Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree

The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree is an iconic staple of the holiday season that has been a tradition for more than eight decades. This year’s tree is a 79ft tall Norway Spruce from Elkton, MD and the lighting ceremony will take place on December 1st!

City Winery’s Winter Igloos

City Winery Rockefeller Center is an outdoor pop-up wine garden with it’s famously festive igloos that pop-up over the winter. The igloos are a great place to warm up while still getting a great view of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree.

Miracle on 9th Pop-up Bar

The Union Square Holiday Market is located in Union Square Park. It is hailed as a must-visit destination, with over 160 vendors for unique gifts created by local craftsmen, artists and entrepreneurs.

Sippin’ Santa pop-up bar at Boilermaker brings a tropical twist to the holiday season. The tiki-inspired drinks include the Kris Kringle Colada (Dark Jamaican Rum, Cynar, Allspice, Lime & Pineapple Juice and Cream of Coconut) and the Christmas Eve of Destruction (Dark Overproof Rum, Herbal Liqueur, Nutmeg Syrup, Lime Juice and Angostura Bitters).

Snug Harbor Winter Lantern Festival

NYC Winter Lantern Festival is back at the Snug Harbor Cultural Center for the third year. The botanical garden will be transformed into an immersive world of light until January 9, 2022. The festival features over 8 acres of luminescence, a live DJ, food vendors, and more!

Holidays at Empire Outlets
?St. George

Empire Outlets goes all out for the holiday season boasting 70,000 lights and 1,096 feet of garland (that’s as tall as the Chrysler building), plus bargains, Santa visits, a tree lighting ceremony, and more. This year they also have a pop-up version of the Winter Lantern Festival through January 13th.
